Looks like the mag will sit to high in the gun in the upper set of pictures.

I just ordered the CMMG Mk4 PDW, 22LR with 9" barrel, Trip, weight and 4 mags. I am hoping it runs good without to much needed tweaking. I also ordered a couple Black Dog Machine 50rd drums.

I think 25K is more the mid range value, I have a M16 roll mark on my Colt M16. I like it better than the M16a1 roll mark but when it comes down to it the only big difference between the two is the owner/buyers opinion/preference . The price is about the same for now.

I'm thinking about a .22lr conversion for my RR M16. I've seen a few on the market, some come with uppers included such as Plinker Tactical, Chiappa and DPMS. Others use the existing barrel and a drop in bolt like CMMG and CIENER. What are your opinions on what would be the best setup to run...

Powder Spring uppers are thicker than the latter uppers that were made thinner to accommodate for the thickness of the tabs.

out side of swapping out the bolt with one with upgraded extractor spring which sounds like a standard fix to me on any 223 bolt if you want to run steel cased ammo, Probably a wolf high tension extractor spring or a rubber "O" ring as a less better fix might even fix the original bolt issues...

If I'm not mistaken a RDIAS is going to cost you about the same as a RR Colt If you are making your decision based on cost. There is always the Lightning Link (LL) option. I don't know if anyone has mentioned that to you or not.
