Yes, Pre-may samples have been closing upwards on Full Transferable values especially in Machine Guns that are factory pre-may examples versus converted or tube transferrable examples. I don't think $12k is too far off the value to at least start a listing.

That's quite ridiculous IMO, I've never sold a MG to someone and started the F3 or F4 without payment in hand unless the person was a friend or another dealer I'd done business with before and I knew payment would be coming. I assume you're taking less than market value since you're selling it...

No issues with the many rounds of 45ACP I've fired through mine suppressed or unsuppressed but its a factory IMI UZI. Check your welds if you're worried but if it was rewelded they likely did a good job and it will hold up for it's average life expectancy.

Not very well in my experience. I have a bunch of factory 16 rounders and a GG lower with a crap load more GG mags and haven't had any issues with either. The GG lower is the way to go IMO if you can find one.

I've sold them for anywhere between $450 and $1200 on GB with .01 opening bids. YMMV but the best time to sell them was about a year and a half ago, there were 3 or 4 people competing to buy up any Uzi or MP5 C&S drum on GB, 1 of my MP5 drums sold for over $1500.

There's 0 chance that either of those were imported before the GCA of 1968. There may be some other way they were legally (or mistakenly) registered but it wasn't before the cutoff.

Old thread but the plastic IMI mags do not work in any of the SMG 22 kits I've tried, only the metal sleeved mags work.
