    M10/11 Belt fed 556/SABRE rumors?

How much time have you spent behind a beltfed particularity one on a good tripod mount? They are a blast. Ultra reliable and surprisingly accurate when set up right. The wow factor plays a big role. .233 is cheaper than .308 or any 7.62 except for 7.62X39. Sit down behind a 1919a4 and you'll...

SABRE - what will you design?

I think a FA upper in 12 ga 2 3/4 would put AA in a class by itself. Using Saiga 12 mags would be icing on the cake. I think this is an obvious next step assuming the recoil is manageable, although at 15lbs you should be ok.-Rob

    Full ATF approval for S.A.B.R.E.

Set my SABRE up on a stand up MG3 tripod and fired some 200 rnds today. Off the tripod at 25 yrds all rounds could be kept in a 3" circle. Didn't try it at longer ranges but from past experience this is pretty good accuracy for a ZfA open bolt gun. No failures of any kind and I used PMags...

    M11 S.A.B.R.E. update

I've always had great communications with AA. Jess called me today on the M11 list. I'm buying one!!! I have both their AMP 10 and the Sabre and frankly I'm pleased and impressed with their work. they fix any problems we have and are a darned innovative company. They deserve our support. bTW I...

Pmags opened up in the back for a square notch work flawlessley. Ran 200 rnds through mine today. Work fine in other guns too. Basically any mag with a square notch will run.-Rob

    Full ATF approval for S.A.B.R.E.

Heads-Up folks! Looks like old school GI metal magazines with a square notch ( rear of magazine) and "bullet shaped" follower work well in my Sabre. P mags and others with a U notch that apparantly does not have the same depth as the square notch in the GI metal mags and a squared "anti tilt...

I received my SABRE upper on friday and set up the Mill today. I suggest no one try this on a Drill press or with your handy dremel tool. Any decent machinist can do this in 30 minutes or less and you can/must stand by and watch. Should cost around $40. The Mac 10 upper fit nicely on a...

Looking for owners with problems with the MM23 beltfed .223

I have had the same problem with my MM23e In FA it will occasionally stop with the hammer down on a live round. I converted it to a 21e and it's been flawless for over 1000 rnds. I called Mike and we discussed the trigger pack and maybe the need for a retimed hammer. However I'm using the same...

    AMP-10

TWell I received my AMP-10 upper friday but just got to try it out today. Everything fit and ran perfectly with Coffin mags, stick mags and drums. Nice slow rate of fire, no jams, no stoppages. Just ran perfectly. I used some fiochi 115 gr +p+ ammo that has worked flawlessly in other 9mm sub...

UZI scope mount Son of Guns

+1 on the stormwerkx Uzi mount. Just follow his directions and it takes about 5 minutes to drill the top cover and mount the rail. No interference with the cocking Knob either. Much cleaner than the RJ approach. I have a small Eotech on mine and its been flawless.-Rob

Teach me about heat treated trips?????

Heat treating steel is actually quite easy if you actually know what the alloy was in the first place. The problem is the trip was most likely made from whatever steel scrap they had lying around and maybe Heat treated by the by gosh/ by golly method. Of course they told you differently though...
