Yea I don’t understand it

Took .025 off the front of the rear takedown pin support, pins came right out. Was definitely the issue. Still very curious if this was done on purpose to make them unserviceable

If it gave you no trouble in the past, I doubt it’s from a burr, but hey never know! Also that one had a trip

Yea extractor would be the first thing id check since it was running fine, and that and the trip are really the only 2 “wear” items

So I just got another pro in today, older one. Pins come right out. They must have changed them

It has the small diameter chamber end for semi auto restrictor ring. And looks like Mac threads

It’s almost like they formed the rear takedown pin support after the bar was in. Which doesn’t make sense

I’ve twisted and turned and beat on the pins. They will not make it past the grip safety bar no matter the position of the pins or the bar. It doesn’t make sense

They must have made changes. I’ve messed with this one for hours. There is no way for the pins to clear the bar, with the bar all the way to the back it hits on the takedown pin support not allowing the fcg pins to clear the bar

On second thought, looking at it again, there’s still no room for it to move back even doing that. The rear of the bar bottoms out on the takedown pin support. Must have to clearance that and the opening to get it to move back about 1/8 inch. That’s all I need to get the pins out

This notch circled here is for the trigger pin to pass through. And the sear pin passes the very front of the bar for removal. Not being able to slide the bar backwards at all at all makes this impossible

I tried this. You can’t get the pins past the grip safety bar. On the micros you slide the grip bar back so the pins line up with the notches and they slide out. On the pro, you can’t move the grip bar backwards at all to do this. Maybe the first gen pros you could do this? The one I have here...

Has anyone disassembled an Uzi pro lower before? I have never worked on one, just had one come in and i can’t seem to figure out how to disassemble it to pull the fire control group out. The grip safety has to slide back just like any other uzi to pull the sear and trigger, but can’t see how to...
