Anyone heard anything about the Calico upper???

I heard today, from a "semi-reliable" source, that the people in OR, are not producing it now. Someone (maybe the original developer) in Sparks, NV is going to produce it in 9mm for $1500.00. That's all I know. Don't ask me for any more info. It might be a rumor, or the truth (this is the...

    port malabar class 3 shoot

I don't think there would be a problem with you bringing your gun with a safety to the match. I don't use the safety on my guns, and I'm sure most people don't bother with theirs either. The safety on a mac is a joke anyway. I wouldn't consider any open bolt gun safe as long as it had a...

    Who bought this box?

$125.00 for a box? Hey, I've got the big box that my 60" Plasma TV came in. I'll let someone come by a take it for only $800.00 and I'll throw in a 27 year old copy of TV guide. I even have a half full box of Capt. Crunch that I'll "sacrifice" for $37.00.......Shipping not included....

That is fairly obvious. Everyone knows that.

    Selling an SBR

This might make it hard for someone to buy. I myself wouldn't want someone elses name on my gun. I would pay to have it removed (which vector can do). It will most likely mean that you will have to reduce the price some. Since I've seen IMI Mini's going for around $1800.00, you might get...

Warning on Hayes Research H&K Style sights for Max-11

I don't think it looks bad. But if you wanted to fix it, I would have someone use a milling machine to just mill off the whole rear end (behind the hk sight) and finish the back, or refinish the whole rear sight.

where can i find if my uzi can be converted

It can't be converted. It doesn't matter when it was made, but it had to be converted and registered before May 1986. You can buy a registered bolt to put in your gun. They cost about $5,000.00 or more.

Aren't most of them new and unfired? Only dropped once? :D

The web site looks 11 months out of date. The web site could have been prepaid for 10 years. Late in returning e-mails or phone answering usually means they are out of business.

Good question. I've wondered the same thing.

    Subsonic rifle calibers??

Actually 1114.667 FPS is the speed of sound (on a standard day), so under that would be subsonic. But yes, I agree with that statement.

    Vector mags - recomendations?

I've got 2 of them. They work with my guns, but they are hit or miss. Their dimmensions aren't close to any tolerances. The 32 round mags are the ones to get.....

    Dishonest Dealer or HONEST mistake

I should have guessed that it was Vito. He is well known for having the highest prices for guns and accessories. He and his "boys" are also known for putting down other dealers, and giving misinformation about title 2 stuff. I have heard stories about him selling guns that he's put together...

    What's the Difference Between These?

Yes, it is. They both look the same. Just that the full auto can use a shorter barrel, and has that "extra" position on the selector switch. Other than that, the cost is one difference.

WTH . . . What is the going price for an Uzi

I agree. Since it's working now (it is, RIGHT?) there's no need to disclose that it wasn't working before. Most conversions had some sort of problem before someone finally got the gun to work perfectly. As for the price, have you looked lately at machine gun prices? They haven't moved up much...

An SWD M11-Nine is not a MAC.

The buyer asks for advice, but seems to be refusing to post any details about the purchase. He does seem like an asshole. What did he expect people to say to his very limited and cryptic post?

    why a sig sauer?

No, it's not an exception. They're available in 3 sizes, 40, 9mm, and 357sig...(The best). Ask around. The sig 357 is becoming a very popular caliber for carry lately.
