***update*** So before heading back to the range I did the following . -Took the layer of paint off the mating surface between the barrel and the trunnion -swapped out the extractor with a known good extractor. (The one that was in the gun felt very very stiff..) -adjusted the top cover...

Can the face of the bolt be touching the face of the trunnion and the barrel still be not far enough back ? I’m going to check the top cover clearance I wonder if it’s too loose now and possibly causing the bolt to ride up ?

No different than anyone else purchasing a preorder . Always good to pay with a credit card in situations like that.
