    Thumb Activated Mag Release

I rest my thumb on mine and have not inadvertently dropped a mag yet. I have been using it since Lage mfg first produced them.

Lage 2-Piece Molded Grip with Thumb Activated Magazine Release

Members of my family and I have used the grip and mag release since it went into production on a total of 3 guns. We really like them and have not had any issues.

    80 % lower

If you are building a Title 1 gun, 16 inch barrel, 26 inches overall length... you do not need to file a form 1, nor do you need to mark it with any identifying information. It may be prudent to mark it, but not required.

Shockwave Technologies Z-mag (beta) review thread

The Beta mag I had worked fine. It would seat on a closed bolt and functioned fine. The production mag would not seat on a closed bolt and if seated on an open bolt the bolt would not close and actually gouged the feed lips very badly. The issue was easily remedied by raising the mag catch slot...

Shockwave Technologies Z-mag (beta) review thread

True, it is easier to raise the mag catch... Just trying to get a mag you do not have to modify or allow your bolt to "polish" the feed lips. Marty, did any of your Beta testers have feeding issues that prompted you to lower the mag catch, thereby raising the mag in the gun? I used the...

Shockwave Technologies Z-mag (beta) review thread

I vote for the mag dimension as Beta tested. The only change I would make is raising the mag catch notch allowing the mag to sit lower in the gun, as suggested by at least one of your Beta testers.

The bottom line is I would buy more of these mags, but I am waiting for the 50 rounders.

What replacement parts do I need for my MAX-11? A MAX-11 Mk II of course.

Shockwave Technologies Z-mag (beta) review thread

I recently purchased 6 mags and hoped they would be “plug and play” in my M-11/9mm with a Lage Max-11 Mk II Mod 0….whatever the official nomenclature of the Max-11 billet aluminum upper is. I had good reason for my hope of plug and play mags as I had one of the prototype mags and that is what...

Problems with titegroup in reloads. Need advice.

I was using Titegroup until the powder shortage, now I'm using 700X. My Titegroup load was 5.0 to 5.2 gr. under a Montana Gold 115 gr fmj bullet. I had one reloading manual that listed 5.0 as a max load, most my data listed 4.8. I don't remember my COL. I can check because I have not adjusted...

    Slight shift/veering-off in Max11 rail

I have kept all 4 of my Mk1 uppers. If nothing else I'll use 3 of them as dedicated uppers for my .22 conversion kits. Sorry Richard, no Mk2 .22 kits for me, unless you're taking trade ins. :roflmao My 4th was converted by me...

    Slight shift/veering-off in Max11 rail

Wow, much to do about nothing. First, the greatest deviation Lage Mfg. has measured in the middle of their rail is .025". That is about, if not, midway on an approximately 12 inch long rail, so 6 inches down the rail is your maximum deviation of .025". That deviation, if it were a true .025"...

    MAX-11 mk2

There is a reason Lage Mfg. only produced DF uppers for a short period of time. The DF magazine brings a new set of factors to the equation. I own two DF uppers and have never gotten them to function as well as I would have liked. I have even considered cutting out the feed ramp on my M11/9 and...

    M16 with 9mm upper

Thanks, I'll try that as well. I spent years trying to find something that would work for all my uppers, but have finally given up on that idea.
