Lage barrels are MUCH BETTER on the brass. Almost no bulging. .

Yes, the original MAC barrel will budge the cases. But not enough to make them unreloadable. I have reloaded 1000s of MAC 10/45 fired brass with no issues. I have only had maybe 50 split cases. And yes, the MAC shoots lead bullets just fine. That is what I shoot the most. .

I have the Lage side-folding stock on my MAX-31A and it locks up TIGHT. Well worth the big $$$$. .

I am thinking grease is not the thing to use on the MAC bolt. Grease is meant more for parts under greater pressure and force. I think a thick grease will gum-up (slow) the bolt. I suggest a lighter weight lube. .

Which Lage upper are you referring to? The MAX-31A or the MAX-11/380? Does your RPB M-11A1 use the small metal mags or the Zytel mags? I have a PS/RPB M-11/380 (small mags) and my Lage MAX-31A upper was a perfect fit. Function has been 100% with good drums and mags. .
