Uzi Machine pistol (FA) on GB

Sam at pratical solutions would get it done in under 10 days I bet. I pointed rHouston in that direction and his gun turned out great.

Uzi Machine pistol (FA) on GB

I own a RR micro and love it. Is it stupid fast.... Yes. The problem with the micro Uzi is a true micro Uzi in the US doesn't exist unless someone went to the effort to have it made properly. That means, stock welded and most importantly a bayonet lug that you can attach a vertical grip to. I...

How to put a can on a Micro Uzi?

3 lug is the way to go. I don't have access to pics right now. I picked up an extra barrel nut and bought an extra barrel. Had it cut and threaded to take a 3 lug adapter and rock set it. Still an expensive ordeal but micro Uzi anything is expensive. You know that!

    S&W 76 Trigger Work SUCCESS!

I'll be honest and say I have not shot my 76 much. I have lots of subguns and the trigger pull turned me off from the get go so I sidelined it for my Uzis, mp5s and ww2 guns. I can't speak to danger in replacing or losing the lower. For me... A 15 lb trigger pull makes the gun unusable so I...

    S&W 76 Trigger Work SUCCESS!

I've used Bill Springfield (triggerwork.net) for years to work on all my triggers. I never heard him mention the S&W76 but I was sending him my H&K MP5 trigger pack for a trigger job and I asked him if he would do a trigger job. I needed to send him just the lower trigger assembly with sear...

FA Cycling 45 in a Micro Issues

Yeah, I know. I just hate having all the parts and then not having everything run 100%. It's seems like a full time job keeping all my guns running 100% which means I'm not that bright or I have too many projects going on. Although generally once I get the kinks out of a gun they seem to...

FA Cycling 45 in a Micro Issues

This is an odd post and very few people have a registered receiver micro but I'm hoping someone else has some ideas. My RR Micro Uzi runs great in 9mm open bolt and closed bolt configs but my Troy heavy 45 bolt doesn't run that great. It seems like if I had a beefier spring it would work fine...

Nice deal on a full size FA Uzi on Sturm (if legit)

That was an obvious scam and most of the lower priced stuff is a scam but there are deals if you are patient. I bought an Hk sear for 19k this year and a pretty much new imi registered receiver for 10k two weeks ago.

Took the Uzi family out for some blasting y'day. -Pics only

Like I said. That's a bargain. It takes some vision and a lot of patience to pull off something like that. Oh and whole lot of hard work because these things are freaking expensive these days. I'll never sell my micro or mini. I am upgrading my full size registered bolt to a registered...

Took the Uzi family out for some blasting y'day. -Pics only

And to think... we all felt sorry for you when you bought that whacked out micro and I thought you were a little bit nuts. But you got it in the right hands and you could probably sell that for double what you paid for it in one day. Turns out I'm the dope for not buying that skanky micro on...

Took the Uzi family out for some blasting y'day. -Pics only

Houston, I told you Sam at Practical Solutions solutions did good work and was fast. Your Micro came out great. I find the Micro is controllable with a vertical foregrip on it and some practice. A suppressor helps tame it too. I have a closed bolt and open bolt for my Micro and closed bolt...

sbr barrel engraving local gunsmith says no

Thanks. Boy, I've f**ed up a bunch of guns on the advice of countless (mostly H&K smiths) on this subject. My H&K UMP with name engraved in the polymer still pisses me off since it was screwed up once so I have 2 engravings on that one. Wish this sort of info was commonplace 7 years ago. Oh...

sbr barrel engraving local gunsmith says no

peski... "All barrels are removable." I'm not sure what this means. Yes all barrels are removable but on an uzi a 4 year old can do it and with a MP5 is require a 2 ton precision press. Please elaborate.

sbr barrel engraving local gunsmith says no

I'd normally say engrave the receiver as with all my other guns and that is the advice I have always received. I can read and understand the ATF regs posted as well as I can understand the Affordable Health Act (which became more unaffordable health care) but if Richard speaks.... listen. He...

    Welcome to my Uzi Family

There are all IMI. I have a registered bolt for the Mini and Full size. They all run perfect. I know some people don't like registered registered bolts as it limits you 9mm but both of my bolt guns run and run and run. I did finally breakdown and buy a registered receiver IMI last week. Got...

    Welcome to my Uzi Family

Got them all 3 lugged now and suppressed now! I love the 3 lug. It is so easy. It wasn't easy on the Micro as parts are non-existent. I had do a captive barrel nut on the micro to get the 3 lug to work as there wasn't enough metal to relieve it. I had micro 9mm barrel cut down and then...

Mounting a forward grip on my mini - a few questions

Yes it works great and is a must for full auto action on the mini and micro. You would think you could manage full auto action in a Micro uzi but with some practice and vertical foregrip it is a blast. I recommend this adapter and use locktight. I think I bought mine from Optics Planet but...

BATFE Form 1 and Form 4 processing timeline

I had two different form 3's take 60 days and a form 4 from individual to a dealer take 50 days. Most people don't realize that form 4's from individuals to dealers process at about the same time as form 3's and in this case faster. All in the past two weeks. Form 4's from my dealer to me...
