Does anyone shoot lead? What are the issues around it? I can get much cheaper prices on lead 45ACP than jacketed.

My mags are blue. I'll see how it runs before I file on any more mags. The right rear of the mag needed the filing to make it fit. I felt like I did a lot of filing but when I looked at the mags after I refinished it I hadn't taken off that much.

OK, it looks like the back edge of the bag is hitting the bottom of the receiver. I'll try filing on one of the mags for fit then do a function test sometime this week. Has anyone else had to do this? I can't imagine there's more than 1 way to put the lower on so I'm pretty sure everything's...

Thanks! Where is the best place to get barrels? ...and how much tinkering is needed to make one run? I'm seeing something like $250 to $300 for the bolt, 300 for the lower plus barrel and mags. I haven't ever looked into GG mags. What's a good price and source? Thanks again. This place...

So this is the standard 45 conversion from Vector? I just assumed that the 10 round mags were all that was available for their conversion. Nevermind...

My FFL/SOT just told me that he looked at a 45 kit that uses 30 round grease gun mags. Appearantly he saw it at SAR. Anyone know anything about this?
