Another member suggested using the plastic cover on a spiral notebook/pad... i tried and works great... cut mine in a teardrop shape for ease of installation...one on each side worked...some covers thicker than others...

Mine does both depending on the mag... but i sort of like it staying open like a.r., it lets you see no ammo, clear chamber, no malfunction ect. ... sure it will eventually eat the follower but thats a small price for the fun factor....

LGustin.. my last email responses was that they "would be selling stripped uppers only, you supply own parts". No mention of full assembly or them assembling... And sent email a couple weeks ago about an update with no response.... at least its not NO, its not happening....

With the heat factor being a consideration, how best would you describe the barrel profile ? Heavy, gov., ect ? Would you get the same profile if barrel was replaced for new or caliber change ?

The zytel that come with my m10 has the top notch "ground out" so the mag catch wont engage the first one... i guess the top notch in the zmag would need filled and a lower notch added... not sure about the stop...

So just to clear up, shockwave z mags WILL fit in a SWD Texas m10 ? Shockwaves site list those for 5 swd m11s and 4 leinad but no m10s.. i have 8 recon ord. mags that work with varying degrees of success, some of the feed lips were cut back when purchased from u.s. machine gun... one so short...

Got 2 sets of coffin springs from B.G.R today in the mail.. figured I would while available.. now just need to find two mags l.o.l. ... and a extra thx to B.G.R. for the extra swag, 2 stickers and a velcro patch

This is cool info. Just out of curiosity i just checked my m10 and true the s.n. is stamped different and the logo in a recessed circle... its amazing all the different things that happened with the "mac" line of guns.. dont know how you guys keep it straight ... cool tho ...
