Just my two cents worth, "Anything worth having is worth waiting for!"
I understand your apprehension about tying your Uzi up for a year, but I must tell you, that Richard does the finest work and is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to fine tuning an Uzi. I was fortunate to be a bit...
I know there are several Class III dealers out there and I don't want to confuse this move with a temporary transplant out of state for a Machine Gun Shoot.
I am planning a move (PCS) the first week of January 2013 and can somone share with me what is required to move my Uzi SMG and Suppressors...
Yo, Yo Yo, Shademan, you gotta leave Richard alone, he's on the homestretch with my Vector and I have it on good authority that yours is in line right after mine! LOL!! :jester
So looking forward to checking out Richards handy work!

Baby Back Home!
Holy Crap Batman,
I just got a call from Richard Hoffman, BWE, we are in the home stretch, he got the stamped feed ramp replaced with the machined version, and he's going to work on .22 Cal conversion to make it slow fire, when all is done he's going to Parkerize the whole...
I too have submitted my Uzi to Richard, it is great to have a place where so many folks have recommended his craftsmanship and attention to detail, looking forward to the time I can fire mine like Jim!

Welcome to UziTalk Dei,
I've purchased 1000 rds. on two seperate occasions, bulk MBI, 147gr. from Lucky Gunner for $250.00 delivered to the house, and it runs well semi and full, w & w/o suppressor, and brass the is fine for reloading...
Just to make sure I am correct in my assumption, when the barrel goes in there will be approxiamtely 1/2" of bolt return spring compression necessary to attach the barrel nut?
In other words when you put the barrel in you have to push it in to overcome approxiamatly 1/2" of travel to secure the...
Really sorry to hear about your woes Phillip, I picked up my Vector Uzi two weeks ago and been to the range twice, my very first outing with the Uzi was with Joes/Subguns kit. I figured instead of going full auto for the first mag I'd start out semi and let the parts become "acquainted" to one...
Well it has been a long time coming but I finally get to post "MY Uzi"!
Hope the picture is "BIG" enough!!
Thanks to RoverDave, Joe at SubGun Ordnance, Josh at Stormwerkz, ddmau and all the contributing members that makes our Forum the best on the web!!!

I appreciate Stout's update, my Uzi and Suppressor paperwork was sent off 5 Aug 11 and went pending 22 Aug 11.
I called two weeks ago and the examiner said they are at five months from the date the items went pending, so I'm hoping I get to send some rounds down range by the end of January...
Hey Richard,
What would it cost to change the stamped ramp to a machined one??
Are there any other modifications that can be done to a stock Vector SMG to tune it up or make it more reliable?
Been to your website numerous times but never saw a price for modifying the ramp.
Thanks for the...
