Whatever he is willing to carry every day. ANY gun is better than no gun. If you have a doublestack 1911 and it sits at home, it's no good. If you're carrying a little 22 derringer, or a Kel-Tec 32, it's a LOT better than the 1911 you don't have.

Cree LED lights are excellent. I have a 4C maglite with a 160lumen Cree head on it. Very nice. Dazzlingly bright!

Wanna kill the boredom? Use smaller targets. Works every time. Eggs at 200yds with a 308 will keep you busy for hours! Balloons hanging from a string at 200+yds are fun too.

Brownell's also has AlumahydeII. No bake hard as hell epoxy coating. I used it on my AK build. Nice stuff. Degrease, spray, and let sit to cure. That's it.

I wonder how a full case of 3F black powder would run? It'd loud as hell and smoke like crazy. Don't use your can though. It'd be ugly. BP 45ACP is a hoot!
