Can't be that much more fun, all subguns are fun only yours is a single caliber gun. Given the current price of .45acp ammo, its a bit expensive shooting it these days. My Uzis shoot .22, 9mm regular ammo, 9mm training ammo, .45acp, .40 S+W.......their versatility is well worth whatever...

An ATF approved upper in 5.56 was just introduced to the market for the M10 with one for the M11 to follow shortly by Alliance Armament. Soooo glad I didn't sell my M11 years ago, I'll be all over an upper for it when they come to market. This will surely boost the price of the lowly M11/9s...

+P+ would be fine in a semiauto Uzi. The bolt weight is not much different and everything else that matters is the same. I've shot the L7A1 +P+ Hirtenberger ammo many times in a Ruger P85 and P89 with no issues, so any model Uzi will handle the stuff no problem.

First mistake, Don't shoot other peoples reloads I'd bet the farm that your reloaded brass is improperly sized. There are very, very few Uzis that will not eat any properly sized ammo. Get a case guage and guage some of that 9mm reloaded stuff and I'll bet you'll find that much of it won't fit...

No, usually not without the semi feed ramp. They'll eat anything in ball ammo with regular full auto ramp.

If you write only one check, be sure to put the serial numbers of both transfers on it.

It's good ammo, I've shot many cases of it. Brass is a bit soft but does reload ok. Although I bought when it was $137/1000 some years back, you did well at that price. If I could find more at $310/1000, I'd buy all they had.

Leading of the bore is common with most 22 rimfire ammo. It would be very wise to clean your bore before switching back to .223. Any restriction from leading can/will cause a high pressure condition, something you don't want in an already high pressure cartridge like .223. Even running a bore...

Well, my reloading of .223 didn't happen, I forgot the box of brass when I left the house in the morning.:bang I'll try and reload some today and post the results. Most accounts I've read have been positive so I'm not expecting any surprises.

I'll be loading some Wolf small rifle primers tomorrow and shooting them on Monday morning. I'll post my results Monday afternoon or evening.
