A History of the Disarming of India

Japan had "The Great Sword Hunt", which led to the development of Karate and a lot of farm tools becoming weapons.

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

It's even quieter than the De Lisle. Not a huge amount, but enough to be heard when shot side by side. Accuracy is very good, even my wobbly attempts fit the group around a U.S. quarter dollar at fifty yards on a windy day using a red-dot sight that is larger than the bulls-eye. Real optics...

Anti-Bloomberg fund raiser in Northern Nevada!

Nevadans For State Gun Rights has finally gotten the drawing to raise funds in the fight against Bloomberg's 2016 universal background check/gun registration ballot BS off the ground. Due to the inane NV gaming rules tickets can only be bought in Washoe, Humboldt, Pershing, Churchill, Story...

Not sure how many here might be interested in this but thought it better to let you know than be asked later why no notice was given. GBR-X, An annual gathering of gun bloggers in Reno each year. Fun event, lots of conversation regards guns and the net-blogging. Some friendly shooting...

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

Just did the final test fire with a variety of bullet weights and shapes. Worked perfectly and even without any sights I could plink pretty well at fifty yards. Now if I could just find time to shoot the one I built for myself, and take video!

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

The first non-NFA version is nearly complete. 9.5" barrel and permanently attached slotted 7" tube ends up at 16.2" when assembled. End of the barrel proper is 1/2-28. Expecting that this and plain 16" barrels will be the most popular. This one got the stock end relieved for the tube, in future...

22 TCM barrell for a MAC

"1/2-28", LOL! So far it seems I have found NINE different 1/2-28 threads depending on the suppressor manufacturer and model. One major manufacturer alone uses FIVE different threads for 9mm! Then there are a couple of 1/2-36 variations. Probably a metric thread or two as well. I personally...

22 TCM barrell for a MAC

Just pulled the M11-9 I have in the safe for transfer out to have a look. Seems there should be plenty of material available to turn down a TCM barrel for a MAC. The 22" TCM barrel might be able to be cut into several blanks but only one would be factory chambered. There is a short section at...

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

Had some fun at the range Saturday. Got to try a screw-on can with the Novem SBR. A clear difference was heard with the bolt action vs the semi-auto using the same silencer. When you REALLY want it quiet use a locked breech. My integral unit was even better, particularly with supersonic rounds.

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

I've been using 1-10 as I found a source of excellent quality blanks at a good price. In stock at the distributors so no long delay in getting them. Other twist can be done but the barrels will be a bit more expensive.

New 9mm bolt action carbine conversions now available!

Call this a new product press release for the "Novem" 9mm. Been a while since I posted here as I've been very busy. I have had a lot of request over the years for a 9mm bolt action conversion. Until recently there really was no suitable action available beyond the hard to find Destroyer...

    STEN 22 builds in future?

Well I found this thread on a search for something else. I did a lot of prototype work on a .22 STEN conversion, actually had one firing. Still have some of the pieces laying around. Forget using a STEN bolt, what more or less worked was a full length aluminum sleeve, new bolt and barrel. The...

Has anyone adapted a barrel for the Swede training ammo?

Had a guy contact me wanting these barrels made. From my searching it looks like they use a smooth tapered bore, no rifling. If you have a good one for sale PM me and I can pass your info to him. I get the feeling most of this ammo is used up and there is not a lot of demand for the barrels...

Has anyone adapted a barrel for the Swede training ammo?

Who has a drawing, shot out sample barrel, etc? Who can give me the full caliber description so that I night get a chamber reamer? I have a CNC lathe.
